Nice Mice

I hope you are having a lovely week-end. Today we went to the Faversham Hop Festival and had a great day, lots of nice stalls to browse round, live music and lots of hops!

My card today is the ever so cute Lili of the Valley baking mice and the recipe sentiment.  I have had these for quiet a while so they are over due to see some ink.  I coloured with copics and then stippled Stampin Up Bashful Blue ink for the background colour.  The ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl.  If you look closely you can see a pin stuck in the ribbon, I added a couple of extra beads to it and secured them with a crimp pin.

Summer Memories

It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog.  Blogger has all changed!  I hope you had a great summer despite the weather this year, so much rain. There has been much to celebrate with the Jubilee and the Olympics and we were lucky enough to go the games.  It was an amazing experience, the park is beautiful, the volunteers outstanding and the atmosphere incredible.

Any how today's card is inspired by the Beach Huts at Whitstable, a place we enjoy visiting for fish and chips on the beach.  The stamp is from the Micheal Powell range which I demo'd recently for Docrafts and I just love this one.  I have stamped it twice, coloured with copics and decoupaged the Beach Huts for extra dimension.

The deck chair and cheeky seagull came from a freebie stamp set courtesy of Make it Magazine (I think).  The sentiment was also a freebie from the Whimsy Magazine.

A Little Bird

This sweet image reminds me of spring. All those new babies! This is one of the Neighbourwood range of stamps and this is definitely my favourite. I used the last of some free papers from a magazine last year.

Best of British

My DS turned 16 recently, can't quiet believe it! He loves gaming but I have done that theme to death so was a big challenge to thing of something else to celebrate his birthday. I used the Portabello Road papers and buttons from Papermania and one of the super cheap and cheerful acrylic stamps for the Son sentiment. The owl punch is from Stampin up. The papers come with some die cut shapes so I used part of one to decorate the stepper card blank.

Sorry to be gone so long I think I need some time management lessons.
