Blog Candy Winner

Sorry for the late draw but finally got my daughter to pull the names out of a hat and the winner of the Blog Candy is Maureen, I will be in touch for your details. Thanks to everyone who entered and for leaving such lovely comments, always appreciated.

Here is a card I made from a Sketch by Bev Rochester, unfortunately it has not turned out as I hoped so I did not enter it in the challenge. The flowers are far too big but I like the image so decided to post it anyway! The stamp is by Sarah Kay which I coloured with promarkers.

Secret Crafter Challenge

This is my entry for the Secret Crafter Challenge, http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ make a calender. I have used a Little Claire stamp and some Daisy Bucket papers. The easel card makes a great calender and after seeing the lovely examples from the design team, I had to make one!

I did not have any flowers to match these papers so I used a craft knife to cut round the petals of the flowers printed on the papers so I could 3D them a little.

I had the little calenders in a recent Docrafts Goody bag, brilliant value at 99p for a pack of 10, so will definitely be making some more of these as little gifts for friends.

Sorry about the photo quality, it has been raining all day today, very difficult to get any good light.

Graduation Card

This card was made as a commission for a friend at works daughter. She is having her graduation ceremony next week. The colours are black and magenta (looks a bit red in the picture). I used a stamp by Penny Black - Graduates for the image. I also made a matching box.

Easel Card

This is my entry in the Secret Crafter Saturday challenge for an Easel style card, here is the link http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
I chose to use my new Pink Gem Stamp, isn't she sweet! I coloured her in with Promarkers, and used my Stampin Up word window punch to make cute accents. I have had the Cuttlebug Ice Crystal die for a while, don't know why I waited to so long to use it.
I added some polar white flower soft to the furry bits on her outfit. Last but not least a snowflake charm as inspired by Bev Rochester's wonderful creations.

I have posted some blog candy as well today. I will make the draw on 30/11/09, please leave me a comment to enter and if you can mention the blog candy on your blog.

You can win a Cuttlebug cut and emboss snowman, Little Claire Stamp, Papermania clear stamp, Wooden block medallion stamp, Dimensions Star Stickers, Motifications, Self Adhesive Ribbon and some mini pigment ink pads.
See the side Bar for a picture.

Promarker Challenge

Just returned from a lovely break at Centre Parcs. We had a great time and the kids loved it. The weather was beautiful, only one rainy day, the rest of the time we could sit out side and enjoy the scenery. Thought I would up load this card made for a friendship swap on the Docrafts Forum. I also entered it in the Promarker Challenge at few weeks ago and got a top 5 award. As this was my first entry I was very chuffed.

I have ordered some new Promarkers from Little Claire's they are new colours in colour themed packs, winter, spring, summer and autumn. The colours look lush, can't wait to play.

Just wanted to upload this card. Been practicing with my Promarkers and was quiet pleased how this image turned out. I added a little flowersoft and used my new Martha Stewart punch. Glad I waited til I could buy it in the UK as it was going for silly money in the US on a certain well known autction site. Well worth the wait though.

First Post

I have fallen in love with all the lovely cute stamp images out there and this will now be a new home to post my creations. I am hoping to enter lots of challenges as it gives you a good reason to make the cards and try new things.

Here is my first entry for the Just Magnolia Challenge. You had to make a card using a flower you made yourself. This was punched using the EK success retro flower and a button in the middle.
